Invictus is seeking Joint Cyber Operations Planners Levels I, II, and III, who possess a thorough understanding of planning methodologies and applications in all phases of military operations. Must have a thorough knowledge of how to turn Combatant Command requirements and capabilities into a cohesive cybersecurity strategy, with the ability to drive operations providing strategic guidance to leadership.


  • Participate in developing and integrating cyber capabilities into plans that support Combatant Command contingency, crisis, exercise, and operational planning
  • Monitor and review strategies, doctrine, policies, directives, and instructions from higher echelon headquarters and makes recommendations to ensure compliance and/or consideration in planning efforts
  • Develop plans and orders through the application of operational art and operational design, and by using the JOPP, within the milestones, deliverables, and interaction points for plans developed using Adaptive Planning and Execution (APEX) activities
  • Think independently and serves as an advanced technical expert of all planning methodologies and applications in all phases of military operations, providing analytical expertise and expert knowledge of operational design, Joint Operation Planning, and APEX
  • Develop briefings, transition concepts to execution, and assist in the coordination of joint operational planning in support of training, exercises, combat, and contingency plans and operations
  • Address shortfall, prioritize and validate requirements, and modify development planning efforts based on the changing cyberspace environment


  • Bachelor's degree required
  • Level I requires 2+ years' experience as a Joint Operation Planner, level II a minimum of 5+ years' experience, level III, 10+ years' experience
  • A complete working knowledge of the JOPP, JOPES, and APEX planning formats and guidance
  • Completion of specialized education in Military Joint Operation Planning through the Joint Professional Military Education Phase II (JPME II), JIOPC, or equivalent Military Operation Planning courses
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
  • Superior communications skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Qualified candidates must be a US citizen with a current TS/SCI w/polygraph clearance
