Title: Director of Industrial Security

US Citizenship: Required

Clearance: TS/SCI with the ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph

 

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor the daily activities of the security staff to ensure enforcement of government and company security policies, including compliance with those outlined in 32 CFR part 117 and DoD Manual (DoDM) 5105.21 as the Headquarters FSO
  • Oversee processing of incoming and outgoing security clearance and visit request authorizations, classified meeting requirements, and company and client badging requirements
  • Audit initial/recurring/annual security education training and special briefings
  • Lead the execution of the Security Education, Training, and Awareness (SETA) program at all company sites
  • Track metrics supporting personnel security actions and take corrective actions to address any systemic issues
  • Serve as the DISS account manager for all organizational elements
  • Establish and maintain working relationships with government agencies/sponsors, program staff, and other company personnel
  • Assist in generation/updating of required security plans, procedures, and instructions
  • Manage the oversight of all SCIF operations, access control, classified visits, incident reporting, self-inspection, classified document control, and records management
  • Support all company COMSEC accounts to ensure adequate compliance
  • Oversee all responses to and investigations of security infractions and violations

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in a security-related field required with a minimum of eight (8) years of directly related experience in the DoD or IC community
  • Completion of CDSE FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities curriculum, with the ideal candidate possessing other industry certifications
  • Proficiency with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook
  • Superior interpersonal skills, with strong attention to detail to ensure security protocols are followed
  • The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage a variety of projects concurrently
  • The ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Capacity and experience to make critical business decisions to ensure minimal impact to mission and operations often with minimal information
  • Solid understanding of business continuity operations, including planning, training, and exercises
  • Knowledge of SCIF operations and the required security oversight
  • Proficient knowledge of government security databases such as DISS, NISS, and SCI nominations through DoD& IC client portals
  • Professional membership with ISWG or NCMS preferred
  • TS/SCI security clearance, with the ability to maintain a CI polygraph
